what do you mean?

Ive been experimenting with 1/3 pot sized cbets. Makes my bluffs a lot cheaper. And in this spot i can still get calls QxTx hx.

How would you have played it?

I'm not that comfortable with the 1/3 c-betting and I'm not sure it's a good texture to do it on if you consider he has a heart ~1/2 the time. Turn and river are good.

What range are we putting V on? Does he jam with flushes here? If he had the boat he would have 3bet pre with a pocket pair. It seems like a weird line and Im not sure i can find a fold here.

Agree that heros bet sizing makes it kinda transparent

Flop and turn are standard normal 60-75% bets. We want to get value from worse queens otf and ott we probably figure v doesnt have a Q so at this point he has a fd, which is why we want to bet or flush but we cant know that so we bet still. River is a clear c/c or c/f depending on his sizing although some might say folding is ludicrous with 3Qs but if the size is big i dont think he will try to bluff busted draws with 2Qs otboard. Of course he also can have a queen which is why river is probably a c/c. So in other words this is really a very standard situation in which we go for two streets of value (otf and ott) and c/bluffcatch river.

i get what your saying. But a 1/3 cbet has its merrits too. for example villain will call with Any heart, Tx, 4x, or any pair probably. And why doenst villain has a Q after turn. Do you raise all your mediocre Qx there?

And i dont fully agree with your c/c @ river. i think betting is better vs passive (cause they most likely hold a Q or busted draw which they dont bluff) and check vs a reg who can turn his busted draws into a bluff.
