Game changes a bit as time passes by. I was wondering what might be different now compared to three years ago when some of the stuff was written.

I'm new to COTW (and psyched to starting reading through all of them) so forgive what might be an obvious question, but this is the complete table of contents, right? It's just that COTW is not really a weekly thing anymore -- more like a quarterly thing from the looks of it. Just checking.

Correct. After Black Friday the COTWs became less frequent unfortunately

Why is this ? Like less USA players are able to play and those COTWs were made usually by US players ?

Would there be interest in a COTW titled something like 'Why you should be playing less tables'?

It probably wouldn't be strat heavy, and would be aimed more at casual/recreational players than budding pros, but I've had a few thoughts knocking around my head for a while and I think I could pull it together into something hopefully interesting.

As long as it's a well thought out COTW with viable concepts that are simple to grasp, I believe many of us would appreciate it

A good idea imo. Will you collect some data from the posters/players? How will you determine whether it's better to play less tables?

I love the concept of CotW and as newcomer on the forum i have got plenty read to do!
As I like reading poker theory when i am in the public transport and not a big fan of e-reader... I just like printing out.

So what I do is copy the thread, make it pretty for a nice printed version. I was thinking that might interest some of you guys. My goal is eventually to link all the thread together and make a "book" (A5 format) so that i can study my CotW everywhere.

PS: I saw that some of the CotW have a pdf version. If someone has already done what I am trying to do I would be of course interested. If it comes from different people with different format and it is not comprehensive I guess I will stick with my plan.

It has been done by JL514 in December 2009 indeed.
But i can find any update since this date and the link is not working anymore. I will keep investigating.

we should start thinking about systematically updating some of the concepts of the week. Do we have enough quality posters around that would be interested in volunteering theirr time toward such an effort?
