Hero (CO): $5 (100 bb)
BTN: $4.86 (97.2 bb)
SB: $1.68 (33.6 bb)
BB: $3.79 (75.8 bb)
UTG: $5.43 (108.6 bb)
MP: $8.85 (177 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Ks Qc
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.15, BTN raises to $0.40, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.20, BTN calls $0.80

Flop: ($2.47) Jh 8h 8d (2 players)
Hero bets $0.80, BTN calls $0.80

Turn: ($4.07) 3h (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $2.03, Hero folds

Preflop: KQ too weak to call OOP and top of my folding range so I turn it into a 4b bluff. Could fold pre as well
Flop: I need Villain to fold 25% to BE on a 1/3 PSB.
Assuming he arrives at the flop with KK-JJ,AJs+,AQo+, the bet should work often enough if he folds AQs+ (non heart combos), AQo+
Turn: Most of his range should be beating me by now so x/f

Thoughts on my line and thought process?

Idk, 4bet bluffing CO vs button with KQos isn't necessary in NL5. When button calls your 4bet he will call your flop bet with almost 100% of his range AJs+ and some pocket pairs. Most NL5 jams JJ-AA button vs CO pre vs 4bet

I think the 4bet as a bluff is better than calling the 3bet OOP. Postflop looks fine and I like the cbet sizing on this flop. Turn c/f looks good.

On a general note I don't think there's much reason to be 4betting as a bluff in 5nl. At least not in this spot without a specific read leading you to believe you're getting a ton of folds.
