Bought in, I hardly ever play sats. Only annoying thing for micro players is the 3-rentries available, they never used to do that. Give higher stakes players an extra edge

he should bet the turn and the river,
but flatting OTF is better for him, his hand still has a good amount of SDV

btw, cbet smaller on those dry boards, make it 33%-50%

K high vs an utg raise has next no sdv lol

and fwiw when you see these whacky plays and immediately write them off as terrible, you should sit back and try work out why villain is doing what he's doing. sometimes you'll actually realise the plays ain't actually bad after all and can start incorporating them into your game.

I feel like in this case he thinks I overbluff these dry flops without realizing that he reps very little.

he may be overbluffing, but if you're cbetting most of your hands with that size on that board, he can get away with doing that, specially since he will be freerolling his equity on turns and rivers. Doing it with KQo is fine, but it would be better to do it with hands with lower SDV, but with better backdoor draws, like KThh, T9hh, 98hh.

KQ has some SDV there, he can catch a Q or a K, utg also has some SCs in his range and PPs which won't stand much pressure on later streets.

whay would you have done it turn was a Q/A and he kept putting pressure?

stop saying KQo has SDV against utg opens. As stated above by BAGPUSS IT DOESNT have that much.

btw i hate LRR sizing aswell, that i agree with u

    Pokerstove says something different.

If you're saying that the amount of reverse implied odds overwhelms how villain can realize his equity in the pot and effectively valuebet worse. Then it's fine, you have an argument. But villain has position, he will be able to realize his equity way better than us and knock down the weaker part of our hands easily OTT by floating the flop. also he has 4 good semi-bluffing outs to the nuts(Tx), and 8 mediocre semi-bluffing outs(9x, Ax), which one of them is really scary for a lot of hero's range.

I'm not saying he should be flatting KQo pre and doing it, it's a super marginal move and arguably not worth his time, specially with the rake. But flatting KQs is fine, and if he wants to float on this kind of board, KQhh/KQcx will be the best candidates for that.
