This was tricky for me, mostly because im trying to find ways to get V to stack off

V1 Over raises pre. He's shown no propernsity to do this but the tables been great. Full of min bets, light 3bet, calls OOP with terrible hands etc. Very action heavy table with a few fish driving the action. So I think V one had a legit hand and really wanted to iso.

My min 3B isnt something I like but original opener seems fairly aware and I want action, to my left is V2 a fish that hates calling 3B's pre (it seemed the one discipline he had but he was easily the most aggro post) V2 starts chatting asking what I have so I know he has a hand. Then flats. V1 Flats

MP+2: 102.9 BB (VPIP: 61.11, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 18)

Hero (CO): 100 BB

BTN: 94.9 BB (VPIP: 42.31, PFR: 3.85, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 76)

SB: 100 BB (VPIP: 18.39, PFR: 11.36, 3Bet Preflop: 2.08, Hands: 314)

BB: 100 BB (VPIP: 14.58, PFR: 10.42, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 51)

UTG: 232.3 BB (VPIP: 29.82, PFR: 22.81, 3Bet Preflop: 5.56, Hands: 58)

UTG+1: 100 BB

MP: 100 BB (VPIP: 18.49, PFR: 11.99, 3Bet Preflop: 2.59, Hands: 298)

MP+1: 101.5 BB (VPIP: 10.64, PFR: 10.64, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 47)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB, UTG+1 posts penalty blind 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 2.5 BB) Hero has A A

fold, UTG+1 checks, MP raises to 6 BB, fold, fold, Hero raises to 11 BB, BTN calls 11 BB, fold, fold, fold, MP calls 5 BB

Flop: (35.5 BB, 3 players) T 2 T

MP checks, Hero checks, BTN checks

Im not concerned overly by the 10's. Id be more concerned if I got action with a single 10 on the board. With V2's speal pre flop in the chat box he's on 10-QQ, AQ+ and MP raising like that then just calling is similar.

Maybe he has more PP's in his range. I check it through to V expecting him to fire a large amount of time

Turn: (35.5 BB, 3 players) 8

MP checks, Hero bets 27.5 BB, BTN calls 27.5 BB, fold

I bet to build the pot. Ive seen V2 call big bets with bare overs and then bomb rivers, he cant help but to have a crack. So my plan is to check call the river 100% of the time. Makes me exploitable but he isnt exploiting just enjoys the ride. I even respect that

River: (90.5 BB, 2 players) Q

Hero checks, BTN bets 56.4 BB and is all-in,

Almost the worst card in the deck for me. Shakes up my entire plan. What would you do, without the chat and calling a big 3B pre this is an insta call against this V, its exactly the situation iv'e tried to manipulate.

I'd be leading out on the flop. I know it's very dry but I really don't like slow-playing 1-pair type hands multi-way (even in a low-SPR 3bet pot like we have here). If they both fold then I'm happy to take down the 35 BBs with my on-pair hand.

By playing it this way it's like you're representing AK/AQ and hoping to get value from lower pocket-pairs on subsequent streets. However, if you lead out on the flop there's a good chance they're going to do exactly that anyway (since a lot of villains place this front and foremost in others' 3bet ranges). So this way you can get looked up from say 77-99.
However if you give a free card and an A,K (or possibly even a Q) hits then you might not get called anyway from those hands on the turn.

As played..it sounds like you had a plan for the river and it's played out exactly as you thought it would so I think you've got to make the call.

You need to bet the flop most of the time MW.

As played, looks like a pretty straight forward and easy river call.

Thanks for the replies,

Yeah looking at it pragmatically leading the pot is always best.

I called. V showed pocket Queens for a house.

The problem I had was what was V calling the Turn bet with that I was beating by the river, KK, JJ - I think he dumps a lot of unmade hands on the turn. Not sure if im blind siding myself here.

I would have definitely folded the river. You don't even beat a weak 10. Let alone a flush or a boat. Let them aces go man!
