Good video, but I was sad to find out that you need a Won $ WSF of 40 to be a good player.

On the KK hand where you check-call the A high flop and donk the turn, I normally check the turn again in that spot. The flop c/c looks weak so he might double barrel, he's probably betting again if he has an ace incase you have a draw, and if he was trying to steal he'll fold.

Basically I play the same but I iso with not so trashy hands because I won't be able to pay as much attention to the postflop game

Just a couple of questions:

1) Firstly, is there any particular reason that you raise to 3xbb pf instead of 4x?
2) In the KK hand (~6:00 in), lets say that the turn was an rag diamond giving you the nfd. Are you going to c/f to any normal sized bet? If not, whats your play?
3) In the very first hand of the video where you have KQ and flop TP, are calling if villain shoves over your cbet?
4) At what time do you usually play?

1) I like that size better, just personal preference.
2) Yeah c/f because I have something like 10 outs and no odds to profitably proceed.. plus I'm OOP and if I hit the flush I have no implied odds (he ain't paying me off on a 4 to a flush board)
3) Probably call with KQ AK 99 JJ KK QJdd AJdd AQdd
4) All the time lol, but normally after 12PM european time (which would make it around your eastern 7PM)

Cheers for this, it's helped me loosen up quite a fair bit today. Out of interest, what's your won without showdown win rate like playing this style? My though process isn't half as good as yours postflop, so I spew a tonne in small pots cbetting/checking when I shouldn't.

Before I'd just play and not really care about session reviews. I'd just open pokertracker, see the results and close it.

Around the middle of April I decided to get serious and start reviewing every session and start discussing poker on AIM much more often than in the forums (I very rarely post an hand) and a boom happened (the graph is in the April results thread... you can actually witness the difference in my winrate exploding around this time)

Couple this with playing 200k hands in 2 months and change, and thats it.

Well, the guy calls my 3 bet so I'm assuming his range here is solid.

Flop is AJX IIRC and I check to him. Once I check to him I assume his betting range is either "air" (he never has trash here, but there are hands he calls 3 bets with that have less value on this flop, like QQ or TT) or strong aces, like AK-AQs.

Turn is a K. I really doubt he proceeds with bluffs here, K is a bad card to proceed bluffing cause KK got there and AQ calls once more, I think. So there's little to no value to be had from "air". Plus, If he has AQ/TT/QQ here he'll snap check it back to improve the river. If unimproved I get no more value from his hands. If he improves, little chance that I'm ahead if I happen to get it in.

So if I bet, I might be able to get value out of hands who would check behind. Plus, if he has a good hand he's stacking off anyhow (AK/JJ/AA and maybe AJ)

Oh, in that case I'd advise you to pay better attention to postflop game because you might be getting pushed too easily off your hands.

Speedle, re ur high attempts to steal, i notice you do this against high vpip / high call c bet players too.

Does the value in doing so come from valuing postflop rather than the steal?

I usually dont steal that lightly against oppponents with high vpips, is this leavin money at the table?
