Football/Soccer prop bet

Hey guys!

Maybe some of you have already seen the thread I started earlier today (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/17...s-itt-1236085/). I'm about to relaunch my poker career and will be looking to do some prop bets along the way to spice things up a bit. However, I came up with a football challenge to 'kick off' the thread in an amusing way (I won't be able to play online poker 'till september 4th anyway).

The idea was as follows:

I believe I can juggle a ball (football-soccer in the US) 10k times in 3h time.
The rules are simple:
1) I can only touch the ball with the parts of my body that are allowed to touch it in-game (so no hands or arms)
2) I am allowed to drop the ball, but I have to juggle it at least 50 times before the amount of touches gets added to the total. So, if I drop it after 49 touches, I am not allowed to add anything, but if I drop it after 50 touches, I may add 50 to the total that has to reach 10k.

I talked about this idea to a friend of mine this afternoon. I showed him the thread and he is willing to bet against me, if I change some of the rules. He wants me to juggle the ball 10k times in 2h, instead of 3h and wants me to up the amount of minimum touches of the ball from 50 to 100.

Is there anyone here that can tell me if this is possible? Anyone with some experience in freestyle soccer perhaps. It's not the amount that worries me, but the time. I mean, 10k in 2h is > 2 touches every second.

If there is an agreement about the bet, I will have a go at it on september 12th, 2012. I will make sure there is a livestream, so those who are interested can watch me in my attempt .

Grtz!

Do you juggle often/daily? It takes a lot of energy and focus to keep juggling for an extended period of time. Timewise, I think it is possible, but very unlikely if you don't usually juggle a couple of hundred touches in a row. I run and juggle pretty often, and my legs still start getting tired after about 30 mins of juggling.

IF your op is accurate I'd say you're probably drawing dead. Of course people looking to drum up action don't always represent things accurately (just in case the other guy is reading this).

Daily? No. Often? No. I could do >1k touches in a row a few years back and probably still can, but never kept track of time.

Wow, you got me there. I'm sorry, I made a mistake on a very simple calculation. It's 10k touches in 7200 seconds, so ±1.5 touch per second.
I'm drawing thin as you're both saying, but think I'm gonna give it a go. I'm being offered 4:1, which I basically can't refuse.

Re: Football/Soccer prop bet

If it's a pending/open offer why don't you just do it, see how close you are, and decide if it's worth it?

These posts usually seem like somebody trying to cheat the other guy out of action imo. I kind of assume you know you can do this and are a lock or have a much better idea of how close you are than you let on at the very minimum. I mean if somebody bet me I couldn't do x in y and it was a pending/open bet I'd just go do it and see where I was at. Usually these bets either have to be accepted on the spot or the offer goes away as there's no way you should accept it after having time like this unless it's a good bet for you. That or they involve something that is obviously a very bad bet at present, must be accepted in the relatively near future, but are done some time down the road. This bet isn't at all like that. Your friend sounds kind of gullible (or you're extremely so) if this is accurate.
