Well I imagine they'd put the beer glass over the shot glass upside down so the shot glass would be inside the beer glass. Counter the scam:


1. Have another shot glass in your pocket.

2. Pull it out and pour liquor from bottle into this shot glass.

3. Drink

4. Profit ... ?

the way you beat this is to stipulate. "we can not touch each others glasses"

you down one pint as fast as you can, hes probably had 3-4 shots of vodka, you turn your empty pint glass up side down and place it over his 6th vodka shot glass.

he can not touch your pint glass, you can finish your pints at your leisure

I knew what this was all about before reading this. I'm surprised someone went with so many pints of beer and shots when they could of just done 2 pints of beer to 2 shots with the classic "you can't touch my glass and I can't touch yours but to make it fair let me finish my first pint before you start drinking your two shots".

Try doing 12 shots of water and see how fast you can do it. When you do it with alcohol, you basically just need to imagine it is water and tasteless. Don't breathe while taking each shot, as this makes it taste worse if you don't like it.

I like Lego's idea of having a bottle of vodka in your bag. When he is laughing it up with the pint glass over your shot glasses, leaning back, chillaxing feeling pleased about himself, pull out a shot glass and start downing them.

obv he drinks his first pint and places the empty glass it over your last shot, and the rules say you cannot touch his glass

Seriously though I was at a house party before and me and my mate bet a guy £5 each that he couldn't down A LITRE of vodka - and he did it! We recorded it too! He then promptly ran to the toilet and you can guess the rest...

huh 5 shots is fine, you're massive +EV even at 3 to 1 imo, I got some experience with that, you could drink the 250ml at once, it s not really hard.

Tips for making it easier:

- Make sure the shots are ice frozen aswell as the glasses they re served in.
- Eat a good meal about 1.5 hour, some slightly fat food, like a steak + fries is the best base
- Get a big glass of juice to drink between each shot, no ice in it, ambient temperature.

I think your friend wants to make you an xmas present...

i think my understanding of a shot must be different to the one OP is discussing.

5 shots would finish far quicker than 3 pints.

fwiw i can drink a pint in 4 seconds.

If your friend was smart he would make a rule saying you cant touch your opponents drink or glass at all, than once he finishes his first beer he will put his glass over one of your shots so you cant finish it.

You so have to counter your gay ass friend now. Its simple down the shot with one hand and cover all your other shots with your other hand so he cant put the glass on top. Dude will be freaking out when he cant put the glass on top

Haven't read anything in this thread beyond OP but first of all..

make sure you aren't getting scammed by some stupid rule. Tons of bar tricks people can play in these scenarios.

Then...how fast do you think you can drink 6 double shots? You need to not be gagging at all and be able to do one after the other....meaning two handed having one lined up to go right after the previous one. If you are able to do that i think you could have a chance.

Never underestimate people's ability to drink beer if they are willing to bet on it. I've seen some people who can drink a pitcher of beer in a matter of seconds, meaning that pints are going to be gone pretty quickly.

You should practice doing this one time and time yourself if you are willing to get a little drunk quite quickly.
