That flying through the banners is just insane. It looks like the glide ratio on these things is still improving and the camera works getting better too.
Man, I want to do this more then ever now! You have to do something like 250 jumps from a plane first though, imagine the cost and the time involved, sigh.

There are no regulations for when you can jump. The reality is that the BASE jumping and the wing suit community are very small,
people rarely jump alone and no one will jump with someone who is inexperienced or foolish , so it kind of works itself out.
Basejumping gear is different than sky diving gear (chute deploys faster, larger pilot chute etc) it takes a while to hit terminal velocity (120mph+) and 5 secs of free fall isn't enough at all so different gear is essential for survival.
