I'm in a program in KCK where people with degrees work toward certification. I don't have a teaching degree, my degree was chemical engineering (never was able to get a job in it).
This program is only in KCK so my certification will only count for KCK unless I get my masters, then I can teach anywhere in Kansas. I'm leaning towards staying here. It will be rough, but these are the kids who are in real need.
Pretty crazy how multiple people, including myself, were talking about how easily it looked like someone could go flying off this thing and then this happens.
Seems like they put up a cage sorta thing to make sure people didn't go flying out... guess the kid flew up into the cage?
Apparently, the kid flew up and out of his seat, hit the net, and was decapitated. The other people in his raft were covered in his blood and his body was recovered at the bottom of the slide. His brother saw his body after. I don't know if he saw the whole incident.
