I was trying to figure out if he was blaming the card or himself or both.

Looking at it they went out of there way to make sure the winner would be realized by the announcer by putting the winner on one side with title Miss Universe in a larger font.
However i don't think the mistake would have happened if they had simply place all three names in a row on the same side.

Most embarrassing contest reveal since...

Great discussion here, and an equally great decision by me to get involved in it now.

Most of what he said in that video was idiotic, but it started with some quote from his book that he wouldn't go out with a woman who doesn't believe in God. If he's serious about his religion (assuming it's Christianity but whatever it is), why should he want to date anyone who doesn't share his beliefs? Just seems like a totally standard and reasonable position for a religious person to take and it was a very strange move (imo) for the interviewer to take him to task on that. And then Steve Harvey said a bunch of dumb stuff about atheists.
