I was 2 rings from the top and I fell.

70.0 is my new best, but I'm not going to do that again.

It gets quite a bit easier with a little practice. My best time to the top is 14 min.

Yeah once you "get it" the game becomes a lot easier.

That last jump at the top is brutal though. ****ing bird always in the way.

New update to haxball today for those of you still on there. Update includes ball size/color changes, as well as speed of players change.

Uh, this game is way grander of a romp through NES history than I could have hoped. So many stage-length tributes.

Okay so I finished it and feel like I just spent an hour or so reliving a small but significant portion of the late 80s and early 90s as a pre-teen. Astounded that a flash game could do that.

Just finished reading Ready Player One that had early video game stuff (more early 80's though) and 80's pop culture as a big component. I really enjoyed the book even though I didn't come around to video games until NES. Check it out if you're looking for a good book to read.
