He claims in some of his online posts that he is intelligent but even before he got caught it was clear that he's not that smart. Probably a little over average intelligence at best.

Narcissists often have an inflated perception of their own intelligence.

When I looked in the mirror this morning I couldn't help but admire how intelligent I looked.

there is little reason to not believe the post was actually (maneater) Luka Magnotta. For a portion of 2010 he was posting similarly in various forums, bodybuilding, car forums, all varieties of things and in a similar fashion. Like he was trying to brand himself and get the world to take notice.

I was the only one who responded to him here at the time, not having a clue who the dude was...but kinda mocking the narcissistic approach. Hindsight has found many similar posts since, and a look back from those that knew the guy irl, he was definately a monster in the making.
