One of my start points was the Universal Studios Orlando globe. This is beyond easy.

i dont think it wouldve registered with me. i would've just thought "universal studios! LA! ship it!"

Having never been to LA or Cali i would have seen the palm trees and assumed florida(but my original guess was Florida anyway). Maybe palm trees grow out there too?

I also dont put enough effort into this game to find exact spots like that, I would see that, be like o Orlando, and just click Orlando not worrying about streets.

I think this game is most fun in a timed format, in the sense you can use whatever you want to get a guess, but you only have 30 seconds to do so for each one. So if you want to travel down the road looking for signs you better ****ing hurry, you can google and stuff, but again better hurry. Someone tell the game designer to add a 30 second(ideally you could create you own length) to each guess. This was we can share games and not have to worry about specifying, O i did this, everything is fair game and if you dont get a guess off in time you get 0 points.

i think that would be a good improvment.

I put the challenge link in there at first but then I realized some people might play through the game by my rules before they realized I was FOS. I don't expect anyone to actually beat my score as I'm pretty sure it's the max possible.

I think technically 32,500 is the max (6,500 each), but you're like a few steps off from perfect, so close enough. I got to 30K+ once with Google help, but accidentally closed the screen before I could share it.

I think you are right re: the maximum score being 32395, at least for this particular challenge.

I chased your results around the world and even though I placed 4 of my pins at 0 km away from the perfect placement — yours read at 0.001 km away for those 4 — I received the same score as you. For the remaining pin we were identical distance away: 0.001 km.

As a follow up to my last post, I went back and took screen shots of my "challenge" game with d10 to see if my pin placement would show that I had got mine closer than his. Sure enough I had placed mine closer but had not been awarded a higher score — and one of his pins wasn't even on the damn road!

Stupid game can't recognize when one player kicks another's butt as badly as I did.

Here I am (red pin), right on top of the perfect placement that would be indicated by a green pin — but you can't even see it cause I'm right on top of it. LOL at d10's placement (blue pin)!!!:

This one is pretty embarrassing for d10 as he didn't even get his pin on the road — while mine is pretty much right on top of the green pin:

In summary: Kicked d10's butt pretty bad and, yeah... bit too much time on my hands obv.

There should be a TV game show based on this. Would be the next Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

It must not record with the same accuracy it allows you to place. I put a lot of effort into getting my placement exact because I knew it was going to take a perfect game to beat Sheep86's score. I certainly didn't drop any pins off road. I only got 2 at 0km and 3 at .001km though so you still win.
