You guys are being so thankful, I'll link what I found last nght (and should have found sooner).

This batsu game is from 2001, before the 24 hour batsu games started. Matsumoto loses a swimming race (which is seen in part 1) and has to spend a night at a haunted hotel.

For some time, this game has been available with subs for about the first half. These links provide subs for the whole game. Even if you've seen the first half of subs before, you'll see new material. These links appear to be from a DVD version which has extra material in the first half.

If you watched the "22+" and "23+" links above, you'll have already seen what's in the official subber's part 23. However, new materal starts in part 24.

Funny, I'm in Japan and can't watch the fricking Hulu links. Thanks, this is all great stuff. Wish I knew how to watch this stuff locally.

The Hulu links are dead.

You should be able to find all the batsu games on You Tube or Veoh.

Shibatabread's You Tube account got axed.

He's already said he will be reuploading to You Tube and another site (possibly Veoh which could be back in business).

Apparently, some guy named Kelvin ratted out shibatabread's videos and other Gaki videos. In response, some people posted Kelvin's e-mail on 4chan.

Why would someone rat out shibata's account?

Why would someone do that? Regardless, I feel like there is no wrongdoing in watching these videos since they were never intended for an American/English speaking audience. I would watch these types of shows over 90% of the crap on TV today.

Just finished No Laughing Hotel Men, and it's ****ing great. Next is policemen. Matsumoto is by far my favorite. Endo and Tanaka don't do a lot imo, except it's very lol when Tanaka gets scared.

There hasn't been much Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!! material being subbed lately. So, I thought I'd create a tangent for this thread.

Downtown hosted another show in the '90s: Downtown no Gottsu Ee Kanji. Gottsu Ee Kanji was a show in which Downtown gave younger comedians a chance to work with them, primarily in sketch comedy.

Five Rangers
These episodes have been linked before, but they're probably the most memorable from the show. Hamada players a villian (translated as 'Skeleton Mask') who is challenged by the Matsumoto-led Five Rangers. However, Hamada refuses to fight due to a reoccuring gag. The episodes parody a classic Japanese show, Gorenger.

Anyone know if the "5 Rangers" sketches were partially improvised?

I've watched a lot of this stuff and I'm sure there's a fair amount of improvisation going on. In fact, I think a lot of these sketches don't actually have endings planned out (Confined Space Man). The performers keep going as long as the laughs keep coming. When the sketch loses steam, they simply end it.

In the later episodes of Five Rangers, I think Hamada may have been unaware of what costumes the rangers were going to appear in. He seems genuinely surprised a lot towards the end.
