Here are some English-subbed episodes to hold you over and build up anticipation for the no-laughing batsu game.

These are non-batsu episodes and have a more casual feel to them.


Classic Retro Gaming 1
The five cast members (Matsumoto, Hamada, Hosei (Yamazaki), Tanaka, Endo) play classic video games on the Famicom/NES, including Arkanoid, Dig Dug, Donkey Kong, 10 Yard Fight, and 1942.


Classic Retro Gaming 2
The cast returns to play a new set of Famicom games, including Pac-Man, Mario Brothers, Shoving Sumo, Xevious, Wagan Land, and Mach Rider.


I Think That You Like This Item
The cast members buy gifts for the other members- a jacket for Matsumoto, a t-shirt for Hamada, underwear for Hosei, a cardigan for Tanaka, and a hat for Endo. Then, each member chooses which gift from the others he likes most and likes least.


Music Memories
The cast goes for a drive and each member plays two songs from their younger days which are special to them. The stories behind the songs are sometimes revealing.

Team Gaki is in the early stages of subbing this year's game. Last year, the first half hour of subbed footage was released on January 12th.

In the meantime, here are more non-batsu subbed episodes which I highly reccomend.


Hamada Idol Project
Hamada becomes an idol (teen girl singer) and records a song and music video. Hosei composes the music, Matsumoto writes the lyrics, Endo choreographs the dance, and Tanaka arranges the costume.


Lego Team Building Competition
The cast and a few guests split into two teams to compare their Lego skills. Each team (captained by Matsumoto and Hamada) makes a gorilla, zebra, lion, and peacock from scratch.


Weeping Performance Competition
The five cast members test their weeping skills. Each perform in a sad drama scene and try to get themselves to cry.
