A gigantic Burmese python was captured by some research people in Florida. I hate it when they killed animals like this from the wild. I understand there is some over population and these snakes didn't even come from here... but WTF, they don't actually kill people.

I think it's a necessary evil to kill enough of them. Without natural predators, it would only be a matter of time before the balance in the local ecosystem is thrown too much out of whack, endangering the presence of other species.
