im not seeing quite a few of your gifs this round
spoilers are showing up empty, like so (there's more than just those 2)

I find it annoying to have to click on every one of em, maybe I am the nit!
Why/how did the spoilers fix em, I wasn't aware of that.

I didn't have any problems with any of the gifs, and I saw them right after he posted.

In spoilers, they start at the beginning when clicked. Much more worth it.

^^^ Imo its not but to each his own. I'd rather have em all loaded up so I can just scroll.

seconded. It's definitely browser dependent.

Prior to acceleration in the browser, the CPU usage could be considerable if you had a lot of them visible on screen at once. For example on my laptop with IE9 I have like 1-2% CPU with all of them visible. On my desktop at work with IE8 its anywhere from 10-25% CPU depending on where in the GIF cycle it is at.

and by visible I mean actively looping.
