I'm really getting used to the motions now - this game is fun as ****

people don't seem to superjump nearly enough

motion controls are super good and need to be learned, rather than turned off. Try turning around with your analog stick. Now try turning back on motion controls and turning around with those. Yeah. The ceiling with motion controls is infinitely higher than without them.

Superjumping is interesting meta. I superjump a *lot* more than anyone else in S+ and get heavily criticized for it. There is definitely a time and place, and superjumping "whenever possible" is definitely not correct.

I reached S+ three days ago. Getting to S+99 is nearly impossible as once you get to S+60, the base for a win becomes +2 and loss becomes -8, making it one of the hardest ladders to climb in game history. Winning over 80% of games in a team game with random teammates is just... insane.

Been streaming it a lot lately. We're hoping to do a squad stream this week where we start at C-0 and play squad battles for 10h or whatever until we get to A+99 (the highest you can get with a squad.)

I have a few fun videos on my Youtube of some interesting games too: https://www.youtube.com/user/RWhiteG...view_as=public

I need to get back into Splatoon, just been so busy lately. All the top JPN players I've seen are using motion controls and now that Goose is recommending them, I might have to give learning it a try.

Also couldn't resist preordering the Shovel Knight amiibo.

I still haven't bought a Wii U game other than Bayonetta 2. What should I get?

Like ten other games. Anything published by Nintendo. That's about it.

Lol Can't go wrong with Mario/Zelda. I have literally never heard of one person not liking these games.

Have you guys heard of Fast Racing NEO? It's a knockoff F-Zero. I'm intrigued and hopeful, but my gut tells me it'll probably suck.

Hi I'm Rooksx, pleased to meet you. I have never finished a platformer. There is always a point well before the end where it feels like I've seen everything the game has to offer and boredom kicks in, especially as there's no story to finish.

I did like Ocarina of Time though, not as much as everyone else does but thought it was pretty good. So would I enjoy Wind Walker?

I have more hours in Hyrule Warrors than any other game released for current gen consoles. I actually like WW more than OOT as well. WW HD improves it by taking away a lot of the filler and making sailing faster.

You should give Wonderful 101 a try. Platinum games(Bayonetta dev) beat em up with a unique fighting system that went over a lot of reviewers heads. Once you get the hang of it, it's a lot fun.

I still have wonderful 101 just sitting at my place - I know it's good but I need a few hours to get through the basics of the game.

Mario maker comes out in two weeks. I don't think I've been more excited for a game in my life. I'll be able to play as much Mario as I want for the rest of my life

Do Nintendo never drop the prices of their games? It just seems weird to me that Wind Waker, a 2 year old remake of a 12 year old game, still costs £35 - £40.

Not really, especially first party ones.

I remember the days of the N64 though, when a million seller game went down to $40. Gold stamp and the "Player's Choice" title.

Those were the best gaming days of my life.

Nintendo are notorious for not dropping their retail prices. None of their Wii games got discounts outside of the games that got re-released as "Nintendo Selects." So far the only first party Wii U games I've seen go for cheap are games like Wario and Mario/Sonic Olympics.

They occasionally have discounts on their first party games on the eshop but it's not common.

edit: Just looking at the wiki and it seems that a lot more Wii games than I thought got discounts. Still no Wii U equivalent though. - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_Selects

Yeh Nintendo probably feel like they "can't afford" to give discounts right now when they're getting killed by the competition. It would def. help their sales though.
