I think it looks okay, and will likely be quite fun assuming it holds onto the same gameplay 'feel', since the guys behind it changed. And you'd surely never call me objective.

I know, early last year when I first started paying attention to Video Games again after taking a few years off and working at a game store, every time I came across "new GOW coming out later this year" my first thought was God of War.

Took me a while to realize there was another game with the same initials and understand just what the hell everyone was talking about

Anyone know how to clean the fans on the 360? My xbox has recently died in that it overheats in 30 seconds after being turned on. Any help would be much appreciated.

I always thought "GOW" = God of War and "Gears" = Gears of War. You can't shorten the former by just saying "God" and necessarily expect people to understand, but I think "Gears" will make sense to most people that are even casually familiar with the game.

you've saved yourself a nice gift. gow2 was the benchmark of what the ps2 was able to put out graphically. It's just a blast.

Anyone played the GTA DLC multiplayer? I read that it includes new multiplayer modes and that the new modes are free to play on XBL until Feb 22 (even if you haven't bought the DLC).

(I'm obv too lazy to put the GTA IV disc back in to try it)

About 20 hours into Persona 4 right now. Great game with some nice UI improvements over the last installment. A must play for anyone who enjoyed the last game.

this is on my list of things to play in the near future... but not a whole lot of time for gaming and alot of games I want to play (mostly an RPG fan here).

Playing Ar Tonelico right now, then want to play 2, then hitting up Devil Summoner so I can beat that before 2 comes out.
Then Hopefully to the Persona Series.

All these new fangled systems and I find myself stuck playing PS2 and DS games most of the time

Anyone pick up DQ5 yet? I don't know much about the game but the reviews seem positive. I've play 1-4/8 so I'm obviously not very skeptical about getting DQ5 but with Valkyrie Profile and Suikoden Tiektris coming out in the next month I can't afford all 3. Suikoden is a must get for so I'm trying to decide between DQ5 and VP.

I'm leaning DQ5 just because I'm a fan of classic RPGs but ST is a classic style as well.

I will be picking up DQ V, but it's on a list with a ton of other games coming out.

the 24th we have Legacy of Y's book 1 and 2 for instance, and that one has me a bit more excited!
