It just makes more sense. Think of the analog stick as your head and neck. If you push it forward (up) it looks down. When you pull back on the stick (down) you look up. Like flight controls.

flight controls and shooting is pretty different. There is no way I could ever get used to those controls. If I want to shoot some douche on a roof top I would be aiming up, not pushing down.

also when i said my comment was made fun of I was meaning not knowing the difference and being able to change options. I still think inverted is ****ing retarded

i have to play inverted. I used to play with the sticks swapped round though so left to look and right to move but i had to teach myself the other way eventually as a lot of games dont give you the option to swap them. It was a massive pain in the ass.

I didn't like it, I found the quests to be dull and I tired of the game relatively quickly. I've just never really been a huge bethesda fan I guess. My vote is Darksouls if you're looking for a fun, challenging game of that genre.
