I am so ****ing dumb I want to punch something.

I bought CK2 on amazon as part of the amazon deals ( $9.99 ), and didn't realise the package version ( $12.45 - with some other games I already have ) had a 23$ promo code towards HoI III which I've been waiting for for a long time, while the base CK2 didn't.

No HoI III for me

LOL amazon is funny.

I emailed them asking if I could have the promo code by paying the 3$ difference ( or substracting it from the promo code ). They answered me that it isn't possible, but they will refund my CK2 and I can then buy the package.

So instead of giving me a reduced promo code, they refund I game I already registered on steam so I can buy it again ( possibly having 2 copies then! )

I never played the medal of honour game until a few days ago where I bought it at eb games for like $10. The game reminds me of battlefield 2 however its absolutely impossible to get used to the aiming. For aiming down you press up and for up you press down. Basically the complete opposite of COD games. You cant even change it in the control options.

Anybody use Project 64k to run old N64 games? I just got it hoping to play Smash 64 online, but in playing around with it by myself, the lag fluctuates a lot and is occasionally unplayable. My computer's not super hi-end, but its not terrible. Any advice to improve P64K performance (obv im no computer genius)?

lol you talk about inverted aiming like it is some totally crazy concept. lots of people still play this way; i know i cant play standard with analog sticks, even in 3rd person action games controlling the camera. i feel like if there were a stick in the back of the characters head youd push up to look down and pull back to look up, so inverted makes sense.

It's not much of a catch. I very rarely go back and play games again anyway, so it's not like I need them for more than a few weeks to play through once. It's like $4.17 or $5.99 a month depending on whether you buy 12 or 3 months at a time. That's not an unreasonable price to be "renting" all these games at. Your library builds over time, and if you do let your membership lapse you can still re-up at any time and have access to all your past stuff again.

There will almost definitely be a setting to change the y-axis to normal instead of inverted.

Lol, I know. It's not a bad deal actually. I just thought that I was going to get a whole lot of games for nothing! Frankly, the promotion probably worked since I'll probably keep it afterwards.

Any thoughts on this folks? Do people agree that PS+ is good value?
