I'm guessing a fat one? Mine died just went MW3 came out. Had to perform surgery to get the disc out, it was really fun(and pieces of the PS3 are still randomly found in my room when I'm cleaning up).

I see no harm in having one of your students look at it, but I think you are just gonna end up having to get a new one. It's outrageous and pissed me off, but I'm addicted to the damn thing so I had to get it =\.

So if I want to use my 360 controller for PC, what do I need? Standard wired one? Any software? Obv, not all games will work, but saints row and arkham city will, correct?

There's an adapter you can buy that let's you use a regular 360 controller wirelessly on your PC.

Just came in to say Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey is a basket of horse**** sandwiches. Who thought it was a good idea to have spells that randomly cause game over from not even boss characters? That **** is sadistic.

Microsoft has drivers for the 360 Controller. With the wired controllers, you just plug it in to your computer and the drivers should install automatically (assuming you are on Windows Vista/7).

What's the consensus on Skyrim vs Morrowind? I know people say Skyrim does everything better than Oblivion but does it manage to capture that feeling from Morrowind?

I should clarify then that im mostly interested in opinions from those who also thought that Morrowind was better than Oblivion, or at least that it (Morrowind) had an intangible quality making it more immersive than Oblivion.

This is actually a throwback to old school RPGs (I'm talking 70s-80s) when instant death stuff was much more common. I agree with you though that it is stupid.

Has there been a retro gaming compilation as good as Activision Anthology for PS2? That had close to 50 Atari games on it, but the presentation was key. The main menu is a kid's room in the '80s, with a tape deck that you choose the cartridges from. Ten classic '80s songs play in the background (you can shut them off of course), and you can listen to them in tandem with the actual game sound if you want. You can make the screen black and white (many people still played games on b&w TVs in those days) as well as a bunch of other effects.

There are trophies/achievements, years ahead of its time in 2002.

Anybody d/l the Simpsons Arcade game for XBLA? I remember pumping so many quarters into that game as a kid, but I'm worried that freeplay/etc ruins the experience a little like it did for the X-Men Arcade port. Is there anything extra that comes with it? Worth it?
