O snap, Yahtzee? He designs amateur adventure games as you're probably aware. The "5 Days a Stranger" series is excellent (and free). It's 4 games - first one in present day, second one in space in 400 years, third one present day again, fourth one in space in 200 years. It's pretty cool.

I tried out the first one in the series (5 Days a Stranger), but it was too tough and I didn't want to read the walkthrough. Also, I had some trouble getting the main character to go down stairs. I'll give it another shot someday.

OMG I can't wait. Summer 2008 on ALL machines (360, PS3, Wii, PS2, PSP, possibly the DS, PC). It looks so sick. I'm more excited for this game than any other released this year.

Im starting my first 'real' vid game. I used to just mess around with madden and games like that with friends. Since i bought The Orange Box pretty much all i want to do is play half life 2 episode 1. I also splurged on a new tv becuz my old one was like a 19" box from the 80s.

Getting stuck @ a spot i can't pass is soooo frustrating but its fun to finally figure it out. Needless to say im hooked. I will post again when i beat that one and move on 2 the next game in the box. You will prolly be seeing post noobish ?s ( apologies in advance) but i will try to keep them in this thread.

Does anyone know where you can get PS1 games? I checked EB, GameStop, etc. online and they only sell PS2 and PS3 games. I would like to buy FF7 for the nostalgia, but people are selling it on ebay for $50+.

goofy, if you want to play both ocarina and twilight princess, definitely play OoT first. it will feel dated after you play twilight princess, but it remains the best game i've ever played. twilight is much more refined and modern, and is still a great game, but it essentially updates OoT.

if you only want to play one of them, then i'd play twilight princess. it'll be more fun. it's also easier than OoT (or maybe that's just because i was younger when i played OoT?)
