We should have a "random ****" thread in this forum imo - Page 51 - Video Games

It's not that big of a deal in and of itself, but rather for what the future holds. This is the start of removing perfectly good content from a finished game, then turning around and charging extra for it. Rather than provide extra content, it just makes the game more expensive, and people see it for what it is. A cash grab.

You mean optical audio? It's on the back of the AV plug. The part that plugs into the console.

anyone else getting excited by Killzone 2? 95 so far on metacritic. All reviews sayings its the best looking console FPS ever. Meant to ave a good MP aswell.

I was pretty surprised by the reviews so far, but we'll have to see. Early game reviewers tend to basically rate based on hype it seems and this game has been hyped like crazy, eg - GTA4. If it maintains its 9+ reviews that'd be pretty impressive.

So I just got kings bounty: the legend.. WTF dudes, this game is sooo hard. I'm playing on the 3rd difficulty level and basically after 1 hour of play, every fight either wipes out 1/5 of my army or I avcidently engage in a battle where I have to flee

pretty cool video. I really hope the gun mechanics(right phrase?) are good in this. I remember thinking Far Cry 2 looked amazing but when i played it shooting the guns just felt atrocious so i just went back to CoD. I noticed in one of the videos on that site that hes shooting bad guys from quite far away with a pistol, dont really like that for some reason, it should be more difficult.

Gamespy(IGN) took off negative reviews for Spore when it came out.

Anyone else notice that after big post-Spore word of mouth campaigns to boycott EA being talked about on the internet, Amazon.com coyly started taking out the names of distributors on many videogames? I know for a fact I used to see them up there on some of the very same games they disappeared from later.

did anyone like the 1st? I thought that is needed more work, you couldnt jump, the controls were kinda crappy/clumsy and after 2 boards I just gave up playing it.

For any of you guys with a 360 + Netflix - I recommend checking out "Primer", really cool sci-fi movie that makes your head asplode and streams in HD.
