got killed, self imposed ironman = start again

this time i found a unique ring on level 2. was like wat. got it ID'd and its the constrictor ring, which gives u resist everything 75% but also takes like 1% of your life away every second so its f useless.

but i managed to con that idiot griswold into buying it for 15500 (??!?)

purchased some stuff, most notably a ring of reliably hitting ****, and

Hm, it popped up like "yo dawg u havin fun" and clicked the button to be like "fk yeah" and then it took me to the app store and said the item wasn't available in the US store, which is weird because I would guess the US store is where I downloaded it from.

lol yeah. I'm not a fan of ads either but it was part of the deal so we rolled with it. The problem is that our IAP for removing ads is broken atm and Apple haven't applied our fix yet so we're getting emails of people complaining about it already

Thanks guys, I procrastinated on this forum for the majority of development so cool to see some of you like it. Yeah Apple featured us worldwide which is so crazy, wasn't expecting it and it's a bit overwhelming. I was pretty nervous about it and didn't know if anyone would actually play it. We got a 8/10 from Pocketgamer which is pretty cool, better than NMS! :P It's weird reading reviews for your own game though.

Seeing some bugs and issues pop up so I'm grinding right now patching. Ads are playing way more than they should and IAP still not working. Players seem to be liking it though.

It's a really fun game, but the ads are killing me. Some seem to go directly to the app-store without touching them and others seem to stay permanently locked and can't be closed - clicking the 'x' sends me to the app-store and the only way to keep playing is to shut it down and restart.

Def getting the ad-free version once that's up and running

Thanks man. The ad situation is driving me ****ing nuts. A lot of the problems are out of our control and fall on the ad providers so dealing with them takes time. Those problems on top of the ability to remove ads not working is causing some rage. Mobile development kind of sucks sometimes.

Very cool game. I downloaded it this morning when I was browsing through the app store. It's pretty ironic, actually, since I don't usually look through this thread. Congrats on getting your game out there. I'm enjoying it and will give it 5 stars once it's available in the US.

Thanks again for the nice feedback guys, it's pretty crazy/weird seeing people play your stuff and actually like it, I thought it would be a niche game that hardly anyone would enjoy. 5 stars reviews help us out big time so if you have time to do one then I'd really appreciate it.

The update is out so that's going to save me going through a bunch of "remove ads doesn't work" emails.

lol yeah it can get pretty tough around there. Only a handful of people have 100% so far.
