I've died quite a few times, especially in my quest to track down and kill Hod.

However, as you probably know, every time you die, you just get ressurrected back a little bit and then can continue into battle, right where you left off.

There were lots of areas (for me at least) where I'd enter and it would be pretty decent sized battles with some baddies that take a little bit more to beat, and I would die a couple of times.

Only negative towards dying is that every time you die your armor and weapons weaken, but you have enough it shouldn't matter too much, and you can repair once you get back into a weapons/armory place.

There are other classes to play which is supposed to add some replay ability to it I guess, but we'll see after I finally beat it.

I still have a massive list of games I need to play, starting with Gears of War next so I can beat it before 2 comes out.

So, Spore comes out on Friday. Is anyone going to buy it? The concept sounds awesome, but I think I'll wait to read a few reviews first.

I have a 24" LCD/HDTV multifunction monitor. After hearing that you should use a VGA connection for (especially FPS) gaming, I bought the 360 VGA adapter. Even though I've noticed a significant increase in picture quality and input response, Whenever I look at text on the screen there appears to be a short faded 'trail' of fuzzy letters at the end of a word. For example, 'partyyyyy' This seems to occur no matter what resolution I have it on. Any ideas?

i don't have this problem and i have used my 360 with vga on both my 20" and projector at various resolutions. seems like you might have a bad cable.

one time i thought my lcd was going bad, but when i used a different vga cable to connect my computer it looked fine. the picture looked ok too, but text was blurry.

FWIW I bought a 3rd party brand cable, not the Microsoft made one. Maybe I should have not been lazy and driven to the farther store that carries the M$ ones.

Random: Saw a billboard for Spore on southbound 101 outside San Francisco today while driving to work. Weird, don't usually see billboards for non-GTA games.

"So Many id Games! So Few Dollars! Valve just dropped word that this weekend, not only can you get a quintet of X-COM titles on the cheap through Steam, the "id Super Pack," which is normally $70, will be going half-price. That means Quake, Quake II, Quake III, Final Doom, Doom III, Return to Castle Wolfenstein and much, much, much more for just $35. That's less than the price of a cup of coffee every day for a month! Maybe. Zounds!"

check it

Hi! My name is Low Key, and I play Mafia Wars on myspace.

I don't know why.

It's kind of like playing a flow chart, so to speak.

It's not really fun. I just... do.

There seems to be no point, nor end to it. Nothing really to enjoy.

But I play it for some reason.

I even made a myspace gimmick specifically for it.

It's quite sad.

Take a look at Castle Crashers and Braid to see if they're up your alley.

I love Zuma and Marble Blast Ultra. But both are relatively old games.

Anyone have suggestions for a good Xbox 360 game that has a good online community. I had to take a semester off from school so now all I have to keep me from going insane are video games and weed. So help me out and give me a few recommendations.

I'm open to some computer games or xbox games with no live capability but I feel like I should make use of my Xbox Live subscription that keeps on renewing itself.

Wow, who knew you were such a huge nerd I don't think I've put that much time into a game since Oblivion came out.

(well, maybe I never have, cause even w/ Oblivion I only prob got like 20 hours in the first 3 days and that was the most I've been psyched about a game in years)

Is anyone else slowly getting pumped that in just over a week Dragon Warrior 4's long awaited 3D release is finally going to hit the US? Next week can come soon enough for me.

BTW, what was the final verdict on FF IV for the DS? Is it worth a pickup?

Recently picked up Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4. It's a fun game. But I now remember why I got rid of the game in the first place. There's just no depth to it. Back in the day, I had each of the first 4 Tony Hawk games. And I really enjoyed them. Then one day, I bought SSX 3. I was blown away. Just a much deeper game than Tony Hawk. I stopped playing Tony Hawk and never bought any of the games after #4.

I impulse bought THPS 4 because it's pretty cheap for the PS2 now. And after playing it a lot over the weekend, I realize there's not much left in the game to do. I'm not sure what I was expecting when I bought the game. But I guess I just wanted to have some kind of skateboarding game in my collection. It's not that I regret buying it. But it seemed to get old really fast.
