We should have a "random ****" thread in this forum imo - Page 223 - Video Games

Rokke and everyone else that got that question wrong should feel bad. It's not just a console game but also one of the greatest arcade games ever. Try 1ccing that if you rate yourself at playing games.

Yea, now that you mention it, I do remember that arcade machine.

I guess the reason I assumed it was just an American/Euro thing was that we had a bunch of Commodore versions of famous arcade/Nintendo games that were pretty much just ripoffs with slightly altered titles.

I used to think Giana Sisters was the greatest game ever until I saw Mario Bros, and realised it was just a level for level carbon copy with altered graphics.

Did anyone play any of the old Heroes of might and magic games? Specifically 3?

And it looks like they are going to come out with a new one, 7, next year. I actually forgot these games exist and I actually still have a working copy of 3 complete. I really enjoyed that game growing up.

I won't get my hopes up. HoMM, like the Disciples franchise, was taken away from its developer after they went bankrupt or whatever and given to random Euro dev studios to churn out soulless iterations. I bought HoMM 6, made by some random company in Budapest (now bankrupt) in collaboration with Ubisoft, for $10 recently and haven't been able to get through the tutorial yet it's so boring. Looks like this one is going to some random studio in Germany that doesn't have a Wikipedia page so color me unimpressed.

I installed Heroes 3 complete today and might start playing it again. It was so fun. The game just takes sooooo long to complete.
