i bought bioshock and it's just AMAZING. WOW. i bought it for the xbox because they had it for $15 and bought bioshock 2 for the ps3. i'm hoping bioshock 2 is as good as the first. granted, i haven't had more than a few hours but it's already got a hold of me.

Bioshock 2 was good. But it wasn't as good as the first. I thought the story in the first one was more compelling (before the end, which sucked imo). Bioshock 2 just made the gameplay a little better, but it's the kind of thing where you wouldn't think it needed to improve much until you play the second.

My brother-in-law just got an XBox 360 with Kinect. It only has 4GB.

He said he played the game it came with and then the XBox said it only had 2.5GB remaining. He's looking into increasing the hard drive. He keeps saying he wants to "upgrade the memory."

What is he going to need to do that? I'm not familiar with the new 360s. The only other game he has right now is Black Ops, along with the Kinect game it came with.

It didn't look like the old 360s with the big bulky HDD on the side so I wasn't sure. Is it like a USB drive or something?

EDIT: Did some research on it now that it was as simple as what Doom said. I didn't know the new 360 HDDs were internal behind a door. I'm seeing a 250GB on Amazon for $57.

AFAIK, you need the 250gb slim upgrade.

You can also fit an "old" xbox HDD in the slim, but you need some tweaking, which isn't for everyone.

On a side note, should you need it, PS3 HDDs are behind a slide door too. Easily exchangable.

But it's $17 less. I think for a little over 4x the space, it's worth slightly extra money.

The actual Microsoft version is $109! Why so overpriced? They appear to be the same thing.

gamefly is the nuts if you want to play older games.. if youre trying to get new releases or anything though, good luck. its a cheap way to play a backlog of games tho if you tend to beat games fast. also if youre a member you can buy/keep the games at discounted prices which are usually pretty good and they have sales fairly regularly

its a pretty good service but definitely not for everyone

i know i should prob preorder it because of how nintendo systems sell out but i kind of want to wait and see if there are any promos. tho i doubt there will be. people dont really need incentives to buy new nintendo stuff.
