I was under the impression that it was $25 for the full pack of games.

It used to work fine, but now it's only 80% of the screen.
probably something to do with the aspect ratio. i don't have an xbox, but beyond that, try this:

The apartments I'm moving into have internet built into the price. I tested their connection with my laptop and got 1.21mb/s download, 0.38mb/s upload/ and 17ms ping. Halo Reach on Live is just about the only game I play on my xbox, anyone have an idea how it'll run with this connection?

For those of you wondering, Mafia II is probably the worst game ever released for the PS3. It's astonishing that the same problems with less-successful sandbox games persist in 2010.

-Enemies take cover, and remain covered forever until you take your crosshairs off of them for a split second.

-Just god-awful control with firearms. FFS, these games need to either a: make it fool-proof like GTA:SA, or b: make it handle like I'm playing a game on a console made after 1999.

-Bushes and other objects have gigantic, square hitboxes that block YOUR bullets, but allow enemy bullets through. The edges of the hitbox extend far beyond the visible edges of the object. This is extremely common, and happens with a wide variety of object types.

-An enemy can hide behind a pole. You can clearly see him, and your crosshairs turn red to indicate that you are aiming at him, but your bullets will always hit the pole, or loaf of bread, or whatever tiny object that acts as a force field generator.

-Allies are always 100% useless. At least in Call of Duty, they can be meatshields, but in this game they make you advance first, and they possess maybe 5% of the offense skill of the average enemy.

-all this on easy difficulty.

I really wanted to like this game, and this is the first sandbox game I've played on the PS3. It's got great voice acting, and I find the cinematic aspects of the game very appealing, but any time you are controlling the character, I feel like I'm playing a prettier, less-fun version of Vice City. Are they all this bad?

What a ****ing terrible waste of $60.

There's an aspect ration in the options tab.

Also forgot to multiquote it but mirrors edge is awesome once you get used to it. Mass Effect is awesome too. I don't have much time spent in GTAIV though.

What I've heard about Mirror's Edge is that it's significantly better on PC than consoles. It's also supposedly quite good on iPad or iPhone or whatever the mobile version is...

the connection sounds good enough, if you have no packet loss and the line is in a good state. I guess it also depends on where you live respectively to where the game servers are.

I would think the controls would be kinda harder on PC given the way it's laid out on the console controllers.

Is there anything worth buying for Kinect? I randomly got one for Christmas, having zero clue about it other than vaguely knowing it was some sort of camera controlled thing, and the bundled game seems decent in the same way Wii Sports was decent, and also got some fighting game that is god awful, seriously a complete piece of crap that is always two punches behind whatever you try to do. Anything out now that is worth trying, or are we still waiting for something decent for it

Hey guys, I'm looking for a new game me and my uncle can play.

Key components of something we're looking for:

-At least 2 players cooperative
-PC game
-Fairly easy to start/stop (be able to quit in like 15 mins w/o totally wrecking the game)
-Previous games we've liked: counter strike, diablo, diablo2, WoW (quit because too much of a time sink), team fortress 2, SC2

We typically like action/RPG/evolving characters, spending points to customize stuff, getting new equipment etc, but we don't like the feeling where we're going to get totally crushed if we dont spend 8 hours per night playing. I realize it's tough to do but diablo2 fit this pretty well I think. Is there any sort of D2 lookalike out that you recommend? Anything else that is super fun?

Thanks

So pissed got Civ 5 for the mac for xmas, but my late 2007 imac's gfx card is not supported... imagine my disappointment!

I think I'll just hang on to it until I get a new MBP I guess, although it sounds like lots of people having issues with the mac version.

Have started Mirror's Edge. I like it. This is probably the most frustrating game I've ever played on Normal. Usually I have to step up the difficulty to feel annoyed and frustrated. I dig it, though.

I find the game incredibly fluid and not frustrating at all once you get all the moves perfectly.

I finished a "no guns" run a few days ago, to get the trophy for it, and I can tell you THAT was frustrating. I had to pull off the most awesome ( visually ) moves on every single bad guy, with the risk of getting 2-shot for the tiniest mistake.

Pulled it off tho

Mirror's Edge was by far the most frustrating game I've ever played. I still enjoyed it (mostly) and finished it. It just got incredibly hard to pass certain levels without dying a bunch of times. I suck at the execution of some of the tricks. And I was awful at the melee and weapon stealing stuff.

Still, I'd highly recommend it. It's a fun little game.

GTA IV runs pretty choppy on my PC. I'm surprised, but oh well. I guess I'll have to wait until I buy it on 360 to play it.

Hey as anyone got the link to that site where it tests your specs and tells you if a selected game will play on it or not? Thanks.

Edit - NVM, found it.
