Also, puzzles which don't actually make sense. I recall in Toonstruck (possibly the most ridic hard game ever) there was a puzzle involving four blue books and four red books you had to pull from a bookshelf in the right order, and it was one of those

puzzles. Only problem was, the solution didn't ACTUALLY follow all the hints, so I spent a considerable amount of time raging at this until I just went on the net and found the solution
