I'm doing the same. Spies and decoys all day. I am using the "clear weather" leader so I have dropped all weather cards. Leaves more room for high powered units.

Scorched earth is ridiculous

Got this on PS4. Not a long ways in but digging it so far. Here's some random initial thoughts:

- JFC at the lack of diversity stuff. You really can't do anything nowadays without offending someone. I consider myself pretty liberal but come on. It's medieval Europe! Isn't it racist to believe you need to fill a racial quota and NOT represent the world you're trying to by throwing in different shades of skin? What is the proper amount of different skinned people to avoid offending someone in a fantasy video game based in Medieval Europe? If you want to play social justice warrior avoid the game. I'm all about diversity in entertainment, but not when it doesn't make sense to the world being shown. "Where are all the black and asian Nazi's in Wolfenstein? Not playing this racist game!"



- Controls can be a touch wonky. I don't like how you have to get in a magical spot when trying to pick something up with x. Swimming (granted I haven't done a lot of it) really sucks, but it sucks in a lot of games and especially open world ones it seems (looking at you Far Cry 4).

- Witcher Sense is cool. Yeah it's been done before (it's Batman detective mode essentialy), but I like the feeling of investigating. Like how so many battles so far seem diverse and setup. Wish more games would do this.

- Place is gigantic. I haven't even scratched the surface and you can just see how huge the world is. The amount of time you could sink into this might end up being insane.

- Digging the world. I like the use of deep conversations. For me at least it draws me in. Has me very interested to keep exploring.

I realized why my inventory always seemed full (75 out of 90 usually). It was because I had a bunch of junk I hadn't dismantled, mainly furs. Crafting ingredients take up .01 weight but junk is much higher. Some furs are almost 1 each.

As an african-american male I've decided to boycott this game. Gonna refocus on Clash of Clans. The hog riders are black.

I just got done looting a battle field and I'm not giving anyone a break in regards to payment. "Oh, that sucks about your daughter... so...."

The best are when you say you'll go find someone and they're dead and you don't even bring the body back but still get paid.

How have you all been spending your points? I'm only level 5 but decided to focus on fast attack, the blast, and the shield. But now I'm thinking I want to put points into the fire ability, but don't want to spread myself too thin.

Fast attack and mind control so far. A tutorial message popped up saying vendors sell potions that will let you reallocate points.

I'm mostly going signs and fast attack, mainly because blue mutagens are everywhere and dat sweet 40% sign intensity per mutagen

The witch you meet early in Velen sells that potion, but for some reason I didn't buy it and then sent her on her way :/
