Late in mid game against a terran who BC rushed. Going up to kill the BCs protecting gold expo that I just chased the SCVs away from with 3 DTs. He hasn't been able to hold an expo and should be close to mined out at his main, while I've got 2 expos saturated, so he's getting far behind. As I get to the entrance to the expo... computer restarts thanks to windows update. I'm soo pissed. That game was done right there if I take down the gold expo.

I just wasted like an hour cheesing the insane AI for the achievement of beating the insane (and getting credit for very hard / medium etc) 1v1 10 times.

Lo' and behold the achievement actually goes up to 100 games.

How do you currently play against T? If you're not having success with economic 1 gate robo type builds you should go watch some kiwikaki replays. Or, if the 3-4 gate aggression isn't working go watch some huk or white-ra replays.

I don't play in diamond and it's a known strategy but i have had a lot of success with MM+ghost builds... then you just need to add some vikings or a couple more ghosts depending on their response (collo or HTs) Usually I push out before expanding off 3 rax and most of the time i either cripple them or kill them.

Also something else I tried last game is just dropping banshees on their base and snipe some important buildings/nexus.

As long as you're ready for potential VRs this general plan works very well (in gold and plat obv)

Placement matches. The only thing you learn in practice matches is that you're playing vs the guys dog or something. There's no way humans can be that bad at something.
