I have been on this as well, I remember once a couple of years I played it on pc and was hooked, but never really played it more after that (vacations on my aunts house), I may pull the trigger now as well

Agree in large part because I can take anyone who's never played and watch it with them and they completely get it. Try to watch league of legends and it's just a random mass of explosions and battles that no one understands. Prob the only reason I still buy keys from time to time is because some of the money goes to support RLCS.

makes me a bit happy, still need 4 diamond wins for the reward and I was down to p1 div1 yesterday but today winning everything and should be back at p3 soon. Being in top 1% area definitely gives a bit of confidence, that means I did in fact improve after all, I just meet stronger players and the impression of my own skill is flawed since I'm comparing myself to people at my level and not noticing when I do improve.

I'm top 5% (dia in solo standard)? Weird, I feel like I suck at this game still.

(top 3-5% in doubles too with weev, depending on where I am in the ever fluctuating dance between plat 3 and dia 1)
