Rocket League - Page 6 - Video Games - Video Game Systems Forum

I was thinking of buying this on steam for my laptop. Laptop is decent, not great. Are there resolution and other graphics options to fiddle with to make a decent framerate? Don't want to drop $20 on a slideshow.

There are a lot of options you can play around with in the video settings (resolution, texture quality, field of view, etc). I use a laptop that's running a 4710mq@2.5GHz with an 860m. Game caps at 65 fps and I'm able to maintain that @1080p with some drops. Although there was one map where I had 48ish because it was raining.

In addition to the usual generic silhouette-player and AI-avatars I've a had a few 'PSY-NET' avatars in a couple of games tonight - anyone know what/who that is?

They're just unresolved names, the same thing happens in-game when players names don't register and just show up blank. It's particularly bad right now, half the leaderboards are blanked and the games are lagging like crap on every server I've been on.

They might be used to indicate players on computers.

The names we saw last night weren't bots.

One was "boygrabber" the other was like "Sirlay, the destroyer of poon"

Right, but if I'm playing on psn, and somebody playing on the pc is in my game, they show up as PSY NET in their gamer picture
