RLCS Season 3 coverage begins today with the final qualifier for NA - 3:00 PM EST / 9:00 PM CET.

Final qualifier for Europe is tomorrow noon EDT / 5:00 PM CET.

Great players, great production and overall well worth watching. RL is a great spectator e-sport.

Europe totally dominated RLCS #2 - NA need to step up their game.

New game mode announced that I don't really understand: Dropshot

From reading, it sounds like...
- if you hit the ball onto the ground on your opponent's side it makes that hex glow
- if you hit the ball onto a glowing hex it opens up a hole (basically a goal) in the floor
- try to hit the ball into a hole you've opened up

I don't understand the decision of removing Neo Tokyo neither, really someone was bitching about it? I thought once community learned how to play this map everybody was okay with it. Starbase? I don't see the same happening.

I am fine with either or both disappearing forever. I somewhat enjoy Starbase and the octagon type shape now, though it leads to some weird balls around the corner just randomly going in. I got to a point of acceptance and understanding on Neo Tokyo (doublejump to second tier was a huge leap forward for me), but I can't say I ever liked it. I have enough mechanical stuff to learn without trying to figure out map specific bounce patterns.
