ok i feel dumb i tried for like 2 min to get the image link to work and it didn't work so i gave up.

pretty happy about the hard reset, though. I gave no ****s about ranks in the first few months and was stuck in the challenger divisions the entire first season. grinding out of that by yourself sucks.

Ranks are reset in that everyone starts at the bottom again. I don't like that system at all, they need to use a better one ala CS:GO.

Yeah as someone who toiled away in Prospect Elite all of last season, I'm not really enjoying ranked right now. Gonna have to take a few days off until I'm not getting paired up with people who are significantly better than me.

Neo Tokyo is cool, but def going to take some getting used to seeing a non-standard map in ranked.

Rank wipe is weird and I wish the 10 placement matches had more meaning. Haven't played anyone dramatically better yet, but definitely destroyed some people who had the unfortunate pleasure of facing people who they have no chance against.

Played Pillars 1 time and it's meh.

Make sure to trade in all your duplicates for new stuff. Got a bunch of decals and some "Very Rare" boosts.

can you guys use the new decals? none of the new ones show up in my garage, and I have like 7 new ones with some duplicates.

Yeah rank wipe is rather annoying, I'll probably reach some challenger levels later on but for now there's no way it's achieveable for me, running into to many legends and whatnot.

They changed faceoffs? Been the same since launch on PC. Unless you're referring to something a little more subtle.

after the season reset there are new formations that you start in on faceoffs

but "now random" as in they used to come in a set order? never noticed that at all

I play 1v1, you no longer start each game directly behind the ball and then rotate one spot, it changes each game

bluefox discovered by accident last night that you can queue a replay to be saved at the end of the game, during the game. I figured out that it's with the back button during a replay on a 360 controller on PC.

It's terrible. I'm okay with adding new maps to competitive occasionally, but not like this. Everything about that map slows the flow of the game to an awkward ****ing crawl. I can't imagine that it's possible to ever get that map down in terms of predicting angles.
