One of the last few GeForce updates broke ShadowPlay so I had to set up OBS. What an obtuse piece of software.
Now that I'm improving at wall hits, my next improvement will be flying backwards. Hits off the bottom of your car are weaker than hits off the top of your car.
I'm sure kuxir would've come off the wall a bit higher and tilted so he'd flip right before hitting the ball and have it come off the front left bumper, that's how they get those crazy 130+ kph shots.
Bumper shots are next hardest after the corners, then roof then wheels then underside/sides I think. I've tried working some roll angling in on shots like that from time to time outside of practice to improve ball speed, and it always looks like my car is having a seizure.
I think you just have to accept that until you have a few thousand hours you're going to have to try doing stuff that'll make you look like an idiot until you master it. For me I'm just starting to get the hang of predicting where long range fast moving balls are going to land so I can redirect, but every once in a while you miss and leave an easy set up for the opponents coming down field. It's easy to just hang back and try to clear them to the corner but then you have the ball on your side of the field and have to work to clear it back down to their end. Being able to always make those long clears while also keeping an eye on the field and knowing where to hit it to to set up a good scoring opportunity is not easy.

No crossplay for XBO though because, evidently, MS won't allow it? That is really an amazingly terrible decision (even by ms standards) if that's the only reason.
Kronovi said he lost 7 out of his first ten solo standards and it still put him way at the top, so it does sound like it just puts you back where your old score would have you regardless of your 10 matches.
You guys got any tips for new players on XB1? I'm decent at offense with making centering passes and crashing the net for rebounds but my defense is abysmal. Do most of you guys use ball cam when you play? Any suggestions for button mapping or camera settings to play around with?
