Your best bet is to ride around and kill random people you find kinda on there own
survivors drop dynamite yeah? Killing spree imminent

I worded that bad. not survivors. UNdead but the ones out on there own, usually trying to eat a survivor (blue dot survivor) tend to give up more valuable items

I might have "beaten" the undead and didn't find it until afterwards, but I wouldn't think that would make a difference.

Is there anything after

Spoiler:
you save your family, come back as undead, and run over all 4 kinds of undead with your horse?

thx
It shouldn't make a difference. I did all the treasures after completing the story. It kinda makes more sense do the treasures throughout the game in this case, since they are ammo and I was basically getting nothing from the later chests because I was already maxed out.

As for you spoiler:

Spoiler:
Nothing new, no, just finishing up challenges etc and getting 100%

There are a few bugs. A couple times I took a missing person back to El PResidio or the other place the zombies would keep spawning for a long time, or when i'd fast travel to the place where the missing person was they would randomly do something ******ed like run straight off a cliff.

Oh and make sure you are going to the right door at the fort. There's two entrances and the southern one won't work. Death is great for the missing person missions cause you can just run over all the zombies by the fort.

Took me a few missions to get into this but I'm loving it now.

Especially after watching two episodes of The Walking Dead.

I think I have some issues, because it is so much fun to 'save' a town and then set all the survivors on fire to take their ammo.

For people who like Zombies, watch The Walking Dead. I only saw the first episode yesterday, but it was amazing and I'm watching the next later.

I guess most of you have seen it, being American, whereas I am watching it on the internet. Sorry for being off topic but just on the off-chance that a few haven't seen it...

More related to the game - when does the Zombie version of Red Dead come out on disc, and is it the same price as on the PSN?

have you killed all the survivors? i want to know if anything happens when there are 0 survivors. i 100%ed the game with 70 something survivors left but i'm not going to run around killing them all to find out.

No, I haven't killed them all yet, didn't even realize there was a fixed number

pretty sure random npcs will still spawn riding around on horseback and for random quests and stuff but there is definitely a fixed number of survivors in towns. it's in the stats menu. once all the survivors in a town are dead that town is lost and while it can still be cleansed there won't be any survivors on rooftops (although there will still be guys riding through on horseback occasionally and ****).

maybe i'll give it a shot later and see what happens. probably nothing though.

I'm surprised there's not more talk about liar's and cheats multiplayer poker?

What kind of price should I be looking at for Red Dead Redemption? It's listed for $55 on Amazon new. That seems crazy since it's been out for a while.

I want to buy this and try it out, but it seems crazy to pay that much fr it.

Surely you can buy it preowned somewhere? Either in your city or online?

Buying brand new games is pointless if they're out there in good condition for 2/3 of the price or lower.

Fair enough. I guess I'll check the local GameCrazy and such.

Amazon used it says like $35 if I remember right. Still seems kind of high.

I assume this is a silly question, but I'm going to love this game right?

Of course you will.

Now if you aren't interested in playing the single player, you can get the undead Nightmare pack with all the DLC for ~$30

I'd guess it's more likely I don't play multiplayer much since I'll get walloped on way too much.

I do plan to play single player RDR and also the Undead single player, I think.

Single player is really good, I barely played online actually as I found that pretty boring. There are a wide variety of missions and a load of really interesting characters that you come across, which you'd expect from Rockstar. Also, there are plenty of side missions, make sure you do the one where you meet a guy picking flowers... one of my favourites. The story does (imo) slow a little when you get to Mexico, but it gets better so persevere. I haven't played the zombie version so can't speak for that.

I'm trading my Red Dead in tomorrow, I'd have sold you mine but I live in the UK so it'd be effortsome with shipping costs and all that.

Propane, I appreciate you taking the time to post that. I may wait until Christmas to see if any better deals come up on this, but I hope to be playing it over winter break....around the same time I get back into westerns thanks to True Grit.

I already want to go rewatch The Proposition.

solo....easy buy on your part. i literally haven't played one minute of online, but the single-player is probably the best i've ever played.

then when you're done, the undead nightmare add-on is the best add-on i've ever played.

I never once thought about playing online, but the single player was amazing. Going to get the undead nightmare pack as soon as I have time to play it.

Yeah, I just absolutely don't have the time for it until winter break. But I'm looking forward to it a lot. Thanks for the input guys.

PS3 Red Dead is $29 for Black Friday at Wal-Mart and Amazon. Not sure about 360 but there's probably the same deal at those places or somewhere else.

Online is pretty fun.

Especially crushing fools in poker too, it makes me feel better about losing IRL to win money ingame that I can't use

RockStar always waits as long as possible before discounting their games to retail stores, so the price doesn't go down nearly as fast as games from other companies.
