On a PS3 and haven't had any freezes or other significant problems for about 42h of single player - guess I run good.

i did this just for the hell of it and didn't get an achievement. well, unless you count laughing hysterically as an achievement.

20+ hours of RDR for PS3 and I have had a grand total of one graphics glitch (floating storage boxes) and no crashes.

Unrelated note: I like having the ability to kill a bar full of people without running up a bounty. Didn't even need to use the bandanna for it. Good times.

ive completed the game etc so i thought i'd have a bit of fun with the cheats (infinite ammo and gun set 2)

so Im riding to theives landing from blackwater (theives landing you can kill everyone one for hours and no bounty) and withing the space of 50 seconds a couger attacked me (not in the woods i was on the road) then 2 wild boars and then a pack of wolves!!!! wtf

cheating makes the animals hate you!!

walking down the street with your boss, he gets attacked by a pack of wolves. 2 weeks later turns out he was embezzling at the office.

standard SOP for the shotgun is to hide behind a corner and wait for someone to try to run up on you, then pop out at the last second blasting. Awesome for defending buildings, and easily the most fun for shooting through windows at people who are outside trying to get in. Yesterday i held off an entire 6 man posse by hiding behind the counter of a general store blasting anyone who ran through the front door.

I'm about ~15 hours into the game, and I have had it freeze on me once. I am playing on 360.

Anyone else find that you sometimes fail quests for silly reasons? I was doing that quest where people were going missing in the hills, and I was going into the hills to look for the third missing person. As I got into that big purple circle where the blood usually is, some random guy starts shooting at me. I killed him, and then it says 'QUEST FAILED', and now I'm not able to do it again. I have no idea why.

Something similar happened when I was doing the quest about the guy who is in love with a horse. I found the horse in the town, and as we were heading back to the guy the woman and the horse just jumped off a cliff for some reason and died apparently. It says 'QUEST FAILED' and now I can't complete it.

Is there some way to reset these quests I'm missing? Or does it only give you one shot?

spoiler regarding people missing in the hills quest:

Spoiler:
for the cannibal guy, I obv knew right away what the scoop was, so I was like "oh, I'm not going to bring his victim back to him" and I just killed him, so I failed But it let me redo it iirc

I failed the horse one and it reset a while later. It didn't reset back with the guy who gave it though, but where you pick up the horse.

I failed this quest too, though because I got on the wrong horse (the one belonging to the woman). No idea why that brings about failure and mayhem, surely she should just politely point out that I'm on her horse, I apologise, dismount and off we go? But no, it's a crime to make a minor mistake regarding horse selection.

Another thing that annoys me is how the cops will chase and shoot me if I kill a dog. As if shooting a dog that was attacking me is a crime worthy of taking my life? Fair enough I did kick the dog, but still...

All marston does is: " HEY GIMME THE BAD GUYS! Ok I'll do 124923045034 mission with 2 genocides in between... but after that you gimme the bad guys, ok ? "

yet another perk of being Desperado. For me he says things like "I've seen dogs that were better looking than you. I bet your father regrets having you. You look like you have a big appetite ma'am."
