I pre-ordered the 360 version on Amazon. If the graphics are on a par with GTA4 I'll be satisfied. Similar graphics with smoother controls + more varied / less repetitive missions and I'll be thrilled. Something beyond "go to area X, meet person Y, oh no something went wrong now you have to kill Y and his posse before they board the train/stagecoach out of town!" I thought GTA4 did a great job of presenting a vibrant, potentially highly interactive game world. But then the missions didn't give you much reason to interact with that game world in interesting ways (oh and the needy friends always demanding to bowl and play darts were annoying).

definitely getting this, i have faith in rockstar n lazlow.


lazlow is like a producer for rockstar and has done their last few games. He's a former radio personality and you'd certainly know his name from the in game GTA radio stations.


he's cool w/ opie and anthony (sirius/xm) show.

apparently anthony has some voice acting in the game, i believe he voices one of the cooky gun retailers


a lot of o&a staff was in various parts of GTA4 as well, so funny bumping into a pedestrian and hearing one of their voices.

Unless you order your game from the UK i don't think you can get any bonuses with the normal game. If you can get the RDR Limited edition in Europe that contains all the bonuses.

Overall, looks like a lot of fun. But, I'm sure lots of hardcore FPS fans won't like it because the shooting is not as realistic as COD or whatever.
