Now that it's release day, the preorder special is no longer in order so I can't see it.

I ordered from Amazon, but I didn't get a gift card with it. Did anyone (Amazon)? Or how is that working? I was assuming the card was going to come with the game, in the same box.

I have to say, the pacing for this game sucks at the beginning. Just cut scene after cut scene after cut scene, I didn't buy this to watch a ****ty movie.

I put a few hours in last night, and while it's certainly fun, is there anything this game does that GUN didn't do 6 freaking years ago? I mean, they even have the same "cheating at Hold Em" mechanic, and GUN's bullet time thing was way cooler.

Almost installed to the HD. Teeming with excitement!

Also herding is ****ing awful. Who thought that was a good idea?

Today has sucked massive ass so far. I tried to go to a career fair that was 30 minutes out of the way on the way home from my part-time job, and those ****ers moved it til next week. So I'm thinking oh well, at least when I get home my RDR will be there and I can play before the Celtics game butnah. Awesome release date delivery...mine has been in transit from Tempe, Az (30 mins away) since 7:25 am....lol?

I just went to a gamestop and picked it up, screw preorders

Just played for 2.5 hours. I'm still just brushing the surface of this game. So far I like it. Controls are a bit clunky. Riding the horse can be clunky also with getting disoriented with where you need to go and accelerating.

It's definitely a GTA game though. I'd recommend it for anyone who likes that kind of game. I'm not a big fan of GTA, but I like the different spin with this game of being a western.

Took me awhile to find the poker game because I didn't see one of the doors that I needed to go into. It's kind of funny though because I went allin with KJ and got called by 2 guys who had something like 97 and something like Q4.

Horseshoes is cool, but it would be nicer if the practice could be repeated. I won my first game on a $1 bet so it was easy to get the hang of it.

Still haven't been able to do the 5 finger game as I can find it where the icon is showing.

And yes, cutscene after cutscene after cutscene in SP gets annoying. I just end up refreshing 2p2. haha
