be sure to do Bonnie's missions right away. she teaches you how to lasso horses and ****. without the lasso ability, you can't capture prisoners/outlaws alive

Any thoughts on the game's difficulty level? The GTA games were always a little too easy imo, I'm hoping the more complex shooting system allows for a bit more depth.

the difficulty is just right. when killing a wanted man, shortly after 3 dudes roll up on you and take you out. i got killed a few times because of that.

the story is pretty boring, i'm hardly paying attention. voice acting is solid however.

you will be glad to know you acquire a bandit mask later on in the game, it allows you to shoot mother****ers without losing honor. i put it on after i lost a poker game and shot that dog down!

OMFG i bought a distinguished suit so now i can cheat at poker! when dealing i can grab the bottom card from the deck. once you cheat you always have a card up your sleeve. i try to keep an ace or king up my sleeve. BOOM got a K4 hand, magically i have KK

you can cheat when not dealing too, just swap one card in your hand for the card up your sleeve. this game is incredible!

you can't swim because they use it to basically stop you from going to mexico/colorado too early in the game. it's pretty weird how you instadie if you go into water though.

i just unlocked mexico and it's freakin gorgeous. can't wait to unlock the 3rd part because i've heard thats where the bigger cities are and i like cities.

it's not that hard, i've only died a couple times. there is difficulty settings but it only changes the autoaim. expert = no autoaim, normal = little bit, easy = alot.

wait till you play the mission where you unlock mexico. it is freakin nuts/beautiful. gorgerous vistas and countryside, and the cities in full daylight look amazing with everything casting shadows. i really wish you could interact with the NPCs more, there is almost no reason to go into empty houses except jus to look at stuff.

i'm lovin this game although i think i'm abusing fast travel too much. the game is pretty much like gta, same physics, same mission structures where you go to people on minimap. the missions seem pretty varied though.

Get good at duels and you can cheat with impunity. In fact that sounds like the fastest way to accumulate chips.

encounter any fire yet? in the trailers it looked like the fire was pretty dynamic and ignited parts of the environment. confirm or deny?

also, try multiplayer yet?
