I'm actually really excited for this. Red Dead Revolver was one of those game that was okay to play, but could've been so much better than it actually was.

I've been waiting for this game since I heard it was going to be released! I've had it pre-ordered for ~6 months now and was sooooo pissed the last time they delayed the release! This should be one of those games I invest a lot of time from and take a nice break from MW2 with!

Nah I don't think there is any real connection. The first one was actually developed by another studio, and Rockstar acquired it late in the process. So they did what they could with it, but it wasn't really up to Rockstar par. This one is from the ground up.

I'm a huge stickler for playing series in order, and I doubt I'll feel the need to play the first game, so you're definitely safe.

Really like Western games.

What was that other Western game similar to RDR that came out in roughly the same era? All I remember is it had kind of supernatural bosses. (Or was that RDR?)

if you guys have xbox live check out the gameplay vids

they have like 10 min of footage showing all the different tasks

when you bounty hunt you can kill the guy or hog tie him and throw him over your horse

this looks sick. Never played the original, but played GUN - and i swear the first clip in the trailer for RDR looks like the whole scene could have been taken from GUN.

Seeing as it doesn't look like a GUN 2 is ever going to get made i guess i will have to settle for this. I just hope it doesn't let me down! Playable demo out on XBL anytime soon?
