Wolfenstein was so much fun. Such a great game.

Two new releases today I bought from PSN store, both highly recommended.

Resogun Heroes DLC: £4 - I actually bought the season pass for an extra £2, because lol why not, I trust them to release something more, and everything about this game is excellent. DLC brings two new modes, an endless survival and one called "demolition" - both are great!

Note you don't need to buy the DLC to take advantage of the other new features added, which may have gone unnoticed if you don't check on these things regularly - In the same update, free to everyone is an awesome ship editor allowing for some fine creations, and sharing of with the world at large - there are already some 3k ships to view / download from other users. Also added is a local/couch co-op mode, which I am sure is going to be fantastic - but I didn't try this yet, since no friends here to play with.

Blue Estate: £12.49 with PS+ discount - This is a crazy "on-rails lightgun shooter", reminiscent of old arcade classics House of the Dead, Time Crisis, Virtua Cop etc. It works off the gyros in the DS4 so no camera needed, and it's awesome! Controls really good, the gyros do drift but it's trivial to re-center the calibration on the fly between headshots. It's also really hard so some decent long term challenge. No platinum, if that sort of thing matters to you. This has local 2 player too, again not tried it. "Adult themes", prob not suitable for kids. Def recommend if like me you loved playing lightgun shooters in arcade, and haven't played one in a decade or more - Great fun!

is there an arcade gun for the ps4 or how does this work with the controller?

The dualshock 4 controller does tilt / rotation controls kinda like a Wii - so, you press up on the d-pad, it centers the crosshair on screen. then you just rotate the controller about (with your wrists rather than arms I found works best) and shoot with the right trigger - it feels surprisingly natural, The only drawback is you need to regularly hit up on the d-pad to re-center, unless you are a master of sitting perfectly still - it's instant and right there on your thumb so no big deal.

couch co-op resogun is perfection

I really need to start trying these games. In fairness I just finished Outlast and that was awesome especially as I played it in the pitch dark during the night

Brag: Resogun platinum trophy just got! Satisfied feels, was tough indeed. 15x multiplier I found hardest, 1cc before that.

The 1cc was def the one that gave me nightmares for a day or two, just kept managing to make dumb mistakes by not killing the keepers in the order.

People have done an awesome job with the custom ships, just a shame they are pretty much have the same stats as the Ferox.

Was reading some great reviews about tomb raider, but couldn't find much on the multiplayer party of the game. Is it any good? Do the game has replay value?

multiplayer isn't too bad, pretty fun... it's team deathmatch.

have you guys seen the destiny white ps4 bundle? that thing looks amazing. i'm thinking of selling my current ps4 to grab it.

Download free demo (or at least view the screenshots) for Crimsonland, from this week's PSN store update - it's a pretty great old skool twin stick shooter. Similar to Dead Rising I suppose, but much more bright / light. Up to 4 player couch co-op if you can find that many people to play. I consider it a warm up for Helldivers

Anyone know why I can't connect with PSN? It shows I'm connected to wifi but it won't let me log onto PSN.

I googled the errors(WV-33899-2 and SU-30696-4) but really didn't find anything useful.

I've done everything the system says except for calling my provider. It was working fine Friday night. Saturday afternoon was when I got the errors.

I just got the PS4 about 1 week ago and still kind of learning it all after taking a break from consoles since the PS2. I'm sure it's probably some simple fix that I'm overlooking.

There's been intermittent problems with psn since they released the destiny beta

Could it be the system update? I know when there is one, you can't connect until you install it.

I installed the latest update(v1.74) when I got the PS4 last week. I've checked everything and there's nothing to install. It was working fine until yesterday afternoon.

I'm hoping it's something to do with the Destiny beta and not something on my end. I'll keep checking for something I missed and keep trying to log in until it works or I find out what's wrong.

What does it say when you set up your connection (in settings>network) and then try to test it?

It says I'm connected to my wifi but not the PSN. When I try to log into the PSN I get an error code. I think that error code is SU-30696-4.

I can log into my PSN account on the PC so I know it's not a problem with my account.

I read something earlier that said it was a common problem where internet access is censored and people use a proxy to get around it. I'm in the middle of the US(#1) so I shouldn't have to do that. If I can't get it figured out by tomorrow night I'll prob end up calling their support.

Very weird. I'd google the error code if you haven't already and see what others have said about it.

the last of us out today, was reading some reviews on amazon and apparently the game is huge, cant wait to get it.

I think it's a 50GB install if that's what you were referring to.
