I think I'm gonna get a ps4 when it comes out. I plan on trading in my Xbox 360 or selling it or something. I just don't care to have two consoles at the same time. I only have a few games for it anyway. It's a 4 gig model.

Sell/trade in now or wait closer to the release date? I imagine it'll only be worth less closer to the release of the new consoles. And I'm sure a place like GameStop would give me basically next to nothing in store credit for a trade in for the ps4.

What's my best play? If I get anything close to like 80 or 90 bucks for a trade in I'd probably be happy.

That model is probably close to worthless anyway (without looking). You might get better results from parents searching for a console with the xbox one sold out right before xmas? Just guessing though.

Woah! Is that for real? What's up with Xbox One being so bloated and less specs but bigger size?

Since these new consoles aren't backwards compatible, keeping PS3 with PS4 for me means having the PS4 on top of the PS3. The small size helps.

I think two different cooling techs. My speculation: xbox wanted to be heat free and totally silent, so they used different fans.

Design might also be a simple reason.

Exact measurments in mm have been posted on neogaf too, but im on my phone.

Is dec 31, 2013 the official release date? Why doesn't Sony release it before Christmas? Seems like a no brainer from a business stand point.

It looks like they don't want them to use them and have told them that's their wish, thing is it also sounds like they don't know what they are gonna do if someone violates that wish.

Just went to my local EB games and got my PS4 preorder cause I got implusive ( was gonna wait a few months)

The guy working there thanked me for not ordering the Xbox One lol

Then both guys go on to tell me about how awful the new Xbox is etc.

yeah, this isn't just a reddit/internet issue it's at the retailers too who are supposed to be selling you the console.

this backlash is bad

(I understand this is just one store but I have to imagine it's like this at most places.
