ha, yeah it's kinda crazy here. some intersections have 4 pokestops. don't know what it would be like in a town where there were only a few.

on the other hand, I've given up on getting any coins from gyms. I left a monster at a level-7 gym around 11:30pm last night with the top two spots defended by >1000CP, and the whole thing had been taken over by the time I woke up this morning.

I wait until I get the clock reset, grind out two gyms that are within 200m of each other and then cash in 20 gold every day.

I'm holding a Gym since Saturday.
Went on a weekend company meeting to the middle of nowhere and there was a gym there in the middle on the mountains on some ruins.

I hatch the 2k eggs since I've decided to prioritize xp over everything else. More eggs hatched=more xp. I dont care about getting good pokemans right now since they'll be replaced by better ones in a few levels. Also, hatching gives lots of candy, so getting something like a pidgey might no be spectacular but it means a lot of evolve xp.

That's only true for the infinite incubator though. The other one just gives xp 3 times anyway so I put better eggs in it.

The people on Saturday may still be right. I think there's a good chance the stock is back below 20k Y within a month. Unless you're just buying to ride it up and quickly flip it for a profit, but if that's what you're thinking it makes even less sense to buy after its already jumped almost 100%.

Also, not sure if anyone else is having this problem but I haven't had under 3 footsteps show up all day. I've caught Pokemon, but I can't track at all because they're always at 3 footsteps. I reinstalled the game and got t-mobile to reset my network connection, but it hasn't helped

Any point to using Insense+Lure or just over kill?

Save your incense for when you're stuck in one place. Incense only spawns Pokemon just for you, while everyone benefits from lures. Lures attract way more Pokemon in my experience.

This isn't much of an incentive, considering the game hardly uses any data at all.

I have unlimited data so doesn't matter for me but someone here might benefit so figured I'd post it. There's no downside other than having to have an extra app on your phone (which you can prolly delete after anyway)

The game actually does use quite a bit of data over the course of a month. I extrapolated ~1GB for me for probably about 1-2 hours of non-wifi use a day, but my plan is 2GB so meh

NTDOY finished +9% today. I'll be keeping a close eye on the numbers but I'm holding on until the global release. We are a force to be reckoned with!

If all of 2+2 invests in it surely* we can't lose ^_^

I'm up 19% on two different purchase dates, and going to grab a little more on Monday. If they can keep the publicity machine running hot, combined with the launch of their retro NES machine, I think NTDOY is going to have a fantastic run through the holidays. Black Thursday could show us otherwise, but for now, I'm going to GAMBOL lol.

Haven't played the game in a few days, the wife took the kids out hunting and killed all our Pokeballs. We need to hit up some serious Pokestops in order to continue our quest.

If you own Nintendo stock and haven't taken profits and/or are thinking about adding or buying in now... You are insane. It's that simple, I'm a huge fan of the game and think the phenomenon is great and all but it's moved so far so fast. There is zero value in chasing up here, I promise you will get a lower level to buy if you so choose although I think the bulk of the move has already happened anyways.
