See a pokemon you really want nearby?
Select it so it shows up on the bottom right corner by itself.
Now start slowly turning until that bottom right corner box pulses green. It's in that direction.

This is a myth, just like the "get your pokeball back by tapping it"
The box glows green whenever anything inside it changes. Has nothing to do with your correct/incorrect orientation wrt the pokemon you're currently tracking

You can own more than one copy of a Pokemon.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but you get more XP if you curveball the pokeball when you throw it

When you unlock a type of ball, do all balls purchased or found at pokestops become that version? i.e once you hit level 12 is all you find great balls or can you still get newbballs?

With the egg incubator things do you have to leave the game running for it to hatch? I am about to go for a 10km run but don't want to have my phone in my hand as its pouring with rain.

If I just have my phone on my person will it hatch soon as I hit 5km?

Has to be running. You can do battery saver mode to dim the screen and leave it in your poket

I've had a CP400 Hypno in a level 5 gym (as like 3rd defender iirc) for 4 days now. Top dog is only a 1200 Vaporeon. Made 40 gold for me

When you're going out poke hunting it's 300 balls 35-40 razz berries and whatever incense/lures I have cause I don't want to dust them off. If I'm taking gyms then I'll have like 20 potions or so. Basically never need revives as they're only useful if you lose a gym battle. Lately I've been dusting off regular pokeballs so that I can get the chance at more great and ultra balls from pokestops

In sad news, the dratini are officially no longer spawning on a regular schedule behind my house, though we did end up going out last night and caught 3 dratinis which allowed me to evolve into a near-max dragonair. Just 24 more dratini to get a non-****ty dragonite (can't believe I caught one in the wild when I was lvl 10 or so and it was 158cp rip)

Agreed. I suspect that they'll add new features to keep people playing. Obviously won't stay this popular, but I think it will have staying power.

Is there a way to trash eggs? The 2k ones seem pretty useless, but once you get 9 no way to keep trying to get the better ones.
