Does it not have this? If I try to hit the one right by my place a bunch of times in a row I get a "try again later" message on the 5th or 6th try even if it's blue.

I'm within range of a pokestop from my desk at work, so I spend money on lures to power that ****; it's such an easy & passive way to get some xp/dust/candy. Because I spend on lures, I've had to buy pokeballs once or twice.

That said, I still love walking around with friends to play the game. I think if your friend won't walk around with you, he's just kind of an *******. Most people like the social side of the game, whether or not they spend $ on it.

That might help narrow the gap between urban farmers and everyone else, but I think it would also broaden the gap between people who pay and people who don't. The only things I get strictly from stops are berries & stronger pokeballs. If a stop locked for getting items, I would still get tons of pokemon from it, which is the real advantage to being by a stop.

sure, but if you werent constantly refilling on balls at a stop all the pokemon at them do much

Canada does not have the game officially, but you can play there.

You definitely get some new pokemon based on regions. For example Jynx is apparently common along the border

Tons of Canadians playing. Several Jynx in my area of Toronto. It was my main for my first 10 levels.

I've spent money on incubators.

I gotta stop hoarding my raspberries and battle more so I can use my potions. My bag keeps filling up. Several pokestops close to work where I could hit at lunch so I had plenty of balls but now that it's over full, they are slowly going down and can't get more.
Not many pokemon near me, just pigeons and rats. Need to use a lure I guess. Saw a pickachu pop up on the radar but couldn't find him. He probably sucks, but is the only I knew of before this game.
Also at Walmart today they had a table with a handmade PoGo sign in it with random things like pokemon toys, battery packs, and water bottles. Pretty neat.
Are the pokemon spawn rates higher in areas with higher traffic? Not much in my neighborhood, need to hit up ECU soon, it's probably better there.

Spawn rates seem to be tied to cell phone density in some way.

I just throw potions and revives away for most part. Considering the very limited incentives to battle and the abundance of potions, there is no reason to keep a stock.

anyone noticing a lot of bugs tonight? It's crashed every time I catch a Pokemon the last hour

I feel like this frequency has increased too. Do you ever get that freeze where black creeps all over the ground?

This happens to me every 10-15 min while playing. I never log off on my own. I stop playing when it freezes and then I have to just close everything on my phone/restart app.

Pretty much imo. Kind of burned out already after a few days of playing a lot.

They said they'll have constant patches and I'm sure they'll start incorporating more battle options. What if controlling cities is like controlling a galaxy in Eve.

The game has a ton of potential, and there's clearly a market for it. Look at how popular it became (literally overnight) in the buggy, bare-bones state it's currently in.

I get the feeling Nintendo just licensed the IP not expecting much out of the game.

Niantic for its part is probably not equipped to deal with the game of this scale and the firm was built to build an engine, not an actual game.

been degening this for 36hr. almost at level 15 but feel like im under performing for that. this is prob ldo for you guys but save the evolving for when you throw down a lucky egg and mass do it for extra XP. finally thought of that...

just dropped off my dodrio at a level 7 mystic gym. have never seen one with that many levels before.
