Nvm, saw this on serebii:
"The next Pokémon GO event has been announced. This event, to celebrate the game's 1st birthday today, will run from today until July 13th 2017. It contains a special Pikachu appear featuring Ash's cap from the anime. It also includes the Anniversary Box, which contains Incubators, Max Revives, Ultra Balls and a Raid Pass, will also be available for a limited time through the in-game shop at a discounted price."
Just lying around at one of your usual haunts, or did you go looking for one?
Anniversary box kinda sucks imo. 1200 for 6 incubators and 2 raid passes, which is worth 1100, and then some max revives and ultra balls that aren't worth much to me.
I am part of a discord channel that sends out notifications when unown and other rare Pokemon spawn around London. I only use it for unown and to meet people who are out raiding but I got a notification this afternoon that there was an unown relatively nearby and I had an hour to get there. It seems impossible to just find one, even in a city the size of London there only seems to be 1 or 2 per day. Always way out in the outskirts and mostly at night.
anyway did a tyranitar raid today, and caught it on the first ball aaaaaand he had 100% IV, finally some run good (i didnt even have a larvitar yet)
I assume that'll happen to me soon, seeing how I've been walking my pupitar for 62 kilometers. the raid candies help though, he'll probably be done this weekend...
Round me a lot of people are using Discord chat to announce and coordinate the good raids. Googling something like "discord pokemon go mycity" may show one for you. Driving around looking for a decent raid kinda sucks.
What the fk? Just hatched a chinchou out of a 10km egg. Is that a change? As if endless gligar, pineco, and mantines wasn't bad enough. Eggs and incubators are losing their value.
I think the egg probabilities are more important than where they hatch. For instance Dratini is a more common egg hatch than Misdreavus even though Dratini is in 10k eggs and Misdreavus in 2k.
This is going to be the first special hat Pikachu I don't get, and I work weekends as well. One thing in general I have appreciated about events is they are usually a week long, which allows for people who don't work a standard 9-5 to participate.
Oh good, I've got time then. I've been moving this week so other than a quick glance to spin one stop and catch one mon I've been doing little else. And of course now my legs are like jello. Which is why I'll never self move again, I think I've officially reached too old for that **** status. It's going to take longer to recover than it did to unpack by a long shot.
